ABOUT HELISON MARKETING SA
Helison Marketing SA is a joint venture between Linde, the world leader in industrial gases, and Sonatrach, Africa’s leading hydrocarbon company and Algeria’s flagship public corporation.
Le Partenariat entre Linde et Sonatrach, établi en 2002, a abouti à la construction d’une Usine de production d’hélium liquide de 600 millions de pieds cubes standards (scft), appelée Helison Production et dont la production est destinée totalement à l’exportation à travers Helison Marketing SA.
Built in 2006, the helium extraction plant, supplied with natural gas from Sonatrach’s GL1K liquefaction complex, is strategically located nearby.
Located a few kilometres from the export port of Skikda, the factory enjoys privileged access, which streamlines logistics operations and strengthens Helison Marketing SA’s role in meeting the needs of its customers.

Transport authorisation for helium containers. In order to comply with regulations governing the transport of hazardous materials and products, Helison Marketing SA, which is responsible for marketing the helium produced at the Helison Production plant, works jointly with Skikda to collect, check, verify and submit the application, and to follow up until authorisation is obtained from the Ministry of Transport.

Helium
Helium is a rare gas that is extremely light, colourless, odourless, inert, non-toxic and non-flammable. It is also an “environmentally friendly” gas that has no impact on the environment or the ozone layer.

Helison Production Spa is a joint venture between Linde (Germany/UK) and Sonatrach (Algeria) and a sister company of Helison Marketing SA. Helison Production’s mission is to operate a helium extraction and liquefaction plant using Linde technology.
Helison Marketing SA is responsible for marketing the entire output of the Skikda factory.
