Helison Marketing SA is a key company in the industrial gases sector, born of a strategic alliance between two giants: Sonatrach, a leading Algerian state-owned oil and gas company, and Linde, a world leader in industrial gases and engineering.
Our mission is to efficiently manage the marketing of helium produced in Algeria, through solid partnerships and rigorous logistics.
Global expertise and strategic management
Created in response to growing demand in the international helium market, Helison Marketing SA is registered in Switzerland. This strategic configuration allows us to combine local and international expertise to serve our customers efficiently and seamlessly.
Our main role is to market the liquid helium extracted in Skikda, Algeria, by Helison Production Spa, another entity resulting from this joint venture. With an annual production of 600 million standard cubic feet (scft) of liquid helium, we have the capacity to meet the needs of industries around the world.
A balanced distribution of production
Helison Marketing SA manages the distribution of helium according to a simple and balanced model: 50% of production goes to Linde, while the other half is sold to third parties on the international market. This approach ensures fair and diversified distribution, while providing long-term commercial stability.
Optimised, transparent logistics
Our Swiss subsidiary plays a crucial role in the operational and logistical management of helium distribution. Using modern tools and robust infrastructure, we ensure transparent monitoring of sales contracts, operations and deliveries. Helison Marketing SA embodies excellence in the management of a complex and highly specialised supply chain.
Team
A multidisciplinary team orchestrates the export of helium from the Skikda plant in Algeria to the main consumer regions. The team is responsible for coordination between the production plant and all the participants in the supply chain – customers, forwarding agents and partners – to ensure safe and smooth, efficient management right through to delivery of the product to customers.
