Located in Skikda, Algeria, Helison Production Spa is a world-class liquid helium production facility. The result of collaboration between Sonatrach and Linde, this plant is an example of technological innovation and strategic partnership. Mise en service le 1er juin 2006, elle se distingue par sa capacité exceptionnelle et sa gestion optimale des ressources.
A factory dedicated to industrial excellence
The plant took 32 months to build, with work starting on 27 February 2003 and being completed on 30 November 2005. Design and construction were entrusted to Linde Engineering, guaranteeing high standards of quality and reliability. The 25,300 m² site is supplied with gas from LNG’s GL1K mega-train, a major Sonatrach project.

A qualified team
Helison Production Spa employs a team of 40 experienced professionals for the day-to-day management of the site. During the construction phase, more than 300 people worked to turn this vision into reality. Every member of the team contributes to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
